Come be a part of our exciting new Taco Boy Food Truck adventure!  We're currently stationary on Folly Beach but taking our act on the road in the greater Charleston area later this year!
  • JOB TITLE: Food Truck Line Cook Supervisor
  • REPORTS TO: Culinary Manager
  • PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: The primary objective of the supervisory person is essentially to lead the line through the entire food production service. Not only does this line cook build expertly crafted tacos & rice bowls and manage proteins cooking on the grill, but they also communicate with the other line cooks and the expeditor to ensure that food is going out in a timely, organized manner with exceptional quality and efficiency.
  • Controls the flow of food coming out from the food truck
  • Communicates with fellow line cooks and management to ensure all items to complete the ticket come out together in a timely fashion
  • Communicates with main kitchen to keep organized, on track, and aware
  • Follows recipes & guidelines to create food that is quality and consistent
  • Building tacos and cooking proteins on the flame & flat top grill
  • Uses a variety of cooking utensils and equipment to prep and execute a variety of food items
  • Follows safety & sanitation guidelines to reduce safety risks and cross contamination
  • Uses chit tickets to build & appropriately plate tacos and rice bowls
  • Stocks, maintains, and cleans the food truck & grill station before, during, and after shift

  • Ability to lift heavy objects often
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
